The June membership meeting minutes were recorded by Barb Borde as Karen Reger, the Secretary, was absent.  The following was copied from the original.    DAIRYLAND WALKERS MEMBERSHIP MEETING MARBELLA CONDOS CLUB HOUSE Wednesday June 7, 2006  The meeting was called to order at 6:40 pm by President McCrill.  Roll call of officers: Co-Presidents  -  Tom/LaVonne McCrill       -  present SEcretary  -  Karen Reger                             -  excused Treasurer  -  Russ Crane                                -  excused Board member at Large  -  Barbara Borde     -  present  Barbara Borde has agreed to take the minutes of this meeting in Karen Reger's absence.   President McCrill introduces new members and guests.    The secretary's minutes of the April 6, 2006 membership meeting were approved.    The treasurer's report of June 7, 2006 was read by President McCrill.  The balance as of June 7, 2006 is $12,818.46; $11,214.25 of this balance is committed for the Niagara Falls bus trip.  The treasurer's report of June 7, 2006 was filed for audit.    Tom Doyle reported that 182 newsletters were sent.    In Don Suloff's absence  -  President McCrill told of the Owen Conservation Park and the Indian Lake walks may need some help.    Some proposed walks for 2007:  Elver Park, Nakoma, Warner Park or Lake Kegonsa  -  need someone to volunteer to put them on.    LaVonne McCrill said she would take Elver Park.    The newsletter deadline for any submissions is 7/18/06.    Fifty Three people will be going on the bus trip to Niagara Falls  -  June 22  -  29.    The next membership meeting will be 8/9/06 and may be at Orchard Heights Park  -  will be a picnic preceeded by a walk.    President McCrill will appoint a nominating committee for the upcoming election of officers.    Bonnie Hamer will be setting up a schedule for the walk and eat group which will start in August.    Tom Doyle said the Alaska cruise will be the last week of May 2007 and more information will be in the next newsletter.    Barbara Borde said there will be another European trip in 2008  -  itinerary to be determined.    The bylaws have been reviewed from the original ones and have a draft set up.  They will be presented to the Board at their next board meeting.    Meeting adjourned at 7:05 pm.    LaVonne McCrill moderated the program of the showing of pictures/trophy/gifts from the April 2006 Euopean trip.    The ten walks that were done were discussed by:  Bruce Dewey, Ted Newell, Carol Miller, Bonnie Hamer, Terry Wendt/Ronni Guski, Dave and Kim Riyeff, Gwen Kraemer, Nancy Sparks, June Quesnell, and Barbara Borde.
