Before the supper and
the meeting, nine people did the Eastside walk. Also, Bonnie Hamer
passed out a Dairyland Walkers Walk-O game.
Potluck Supper
Food was served beginning at 5:10 p.m.
Meeting
Tom McCrill began the meeting at 6:10 p.m.
by welcoming everyone and thanking those who brought food. Three
items had been added to the agenda by Ed Reid, Tom Doyle, and Barb
Borde. There was a motion to accept the agenda as amended, which was
approved.
Meeting Minutes

Several paper copies of the minutes from the last membership meeting
of October 19 were available. There was no discussion, and the
minutes were accepted.
President's Report
(Tom McCrill)
There is a new set of bylaws, which can be obtained from Russ Crane
via email.
Vice President's
Report (Ron Moore)
There was no report.
Secretary's Report
(Karen Reger)
There was no report.
Treasurer's Report
(Russ Crane)
The balance at the last Board meeting on November 9 was $3,819.62.
Since that time, income has totaled $155.00 and expenses have totaled
$549.44. The current balance is $3,425.18. The report was accepted
and filed for audit.
Clean Sweep Report
So far, 18 people have completed the Clean Sweep Program, which is
the second best year since its inception. There are five
first-timers: Porter and Heather Venn, Marilyn and Scott Troyan, and
Marlin Brendsel. Six have completed the program every year: Bruce
Dewey, Jerry and Pam Wilson, June Quesnell, Barb Borde, and Russ
Crane.
Tom McCrill indicated
that Russ is in charge of Stores and has copies of the Starting
Point 2007 available. He also has frequent walker coupons which
can be used in lieu of cash for our year-round and seasonal walks. A
sheet of eight costs $20.00, saving $.50 per walk. A new statewide
booklet for 2007 is also available – please sign a list if you take
one. You'll be given the booklet and clean sweep cards which will
save on postage.
Membership Chair
Report (Tom Doyle)
If someone is not receiving mailings, please let him know. Names seem
to drop off of his database occasionally.
Tom was modeling a
prototype of a Wisconsin counties shirt. More details will follow.
Sanctioned Walk
Coordinator (Bruce Dewey)
There was no report.
Tom M. indicated that
Bruce is the North Central Regional Director. Tom also said that
Bruce was in a picture in the recent The American Wanderer in
relation to a walker completing her 50th state walk.
Trailmaster Report

Don will need help for the Walk Wisconsin Weekend events next
September as hopefully a large number of people will be
participating. Don is also working on events for 2008.
Newsletter Editor
(Bonnie Hamer)
Bonnie apologized for not including Nancy Sparks' name in the
newsletter article regarding the highway cleanup participants.
Articles for the
newsletter need to be sent to her sooner since the club is using bulk
mailing and there is a slight delay in mailing time.
Peoples' email
addresses seem to be dropping off her mailing list for her
informational emails so if you don't receive any for a while, please
let her know. If your email address has changed, please keep her
updated.
Upcoming Event
(Russ Crane)
The Menominee River Club and the Hearty Sole Walkers are going to have
a weekend of events on June 2 and 3 in Green Bay. There will be two
walks, one bike, and one swim event. This is included in the new
statewide booklet.
Upcoming Walk
(Tom McCrill)
The Snowman Shuffle will be held at West Towne Mall on January 27.
Registration will be at the Firestone Service Center and the contact
person is Ed Reid.
Future Bus Trips
(Ed Reid)
A committee is planning a bus trip to St. Louis from April 27 to May
1, doing walks in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. The cost will be
$400.00 a person, with a $50.00 deposit. Thirty-five people are
needed to go.
Future European
Trip (Barb Borde)
This is being discussed for possibly spring or fall of 2008.
Alaska Cruise
(Tom Gundlach)
Those going on the cruise will receive a map and book set. At this
time, 24 are doing both the land package and the cruise and two are
doing the cruise only. Reservations are still being taken.

Thank yous were extended to Ron Moore and Barb Borde whose terms of
office will end this year.

Tom also thanked
Carole Miller, who has no official title, who gathers information from
the walk boxes and sends it to the AVA, and who also arranged for
space for several meetings.
The meeting ended at
6:35 p.m.
The winners of the
Walk-O contest were announced and numbers were then drawn for door
prizes.
