Directions:
|
Take
US 41 to Marquette, MI.
Take the
West Washington exit or South Front St Exit
depending on the direction you are coming on US 41. If on West Washington, make
a left on N Front St (one street before Lake Shore Blvd and the Lower Harbor).
After turning on North Front St, go 1 1/2 blocks to the Landmark Inn on the
right. The start of the walk is at Presque Isle about 2 miles from the
Landmark Inn where the Start Box is located.

| Description: |
The trail is along the Lake Superior shoreline
and around Presque Isle, partly on a bike path, and partly on a circle drive or
on the walking path that overlooks the cliffs and lake. The area of Presque
Isle is wooded with some wonderful panoramic views. There is no water on the
Presque Isle portion of the trail. Presque Isle is a city park area. |
