From the Madison Beltline
(US-12/14/18/151), take Fish Hatchery Road (County D) South 1.65 miles. Turn
right onto McKee Road (County PD); turn left at Chapel Valley Road and follow
road into McKee Farms Park parking lot. Look
for signs and the AVA banner. |

The walks
will take you through McKee Farms Park, on the Capital City Bicycle Trail, on an
overpass, around the historic McCoy House (11K only), passing HospiceCare Inc.,
and the Agora Pavillion. The route also takes you in front of the City of
Fitchburg Police Department and the new library. The walks will be on sidewalks
or paved trails. Local places of interest are the Nevin Springs Hatchery and
Wildlife Area, BioPharmaceutical Technology Center, and the Oscar Mayer
Observatory. |
