Directions:

From
Madison Beltline (US 12/18) turn north on Monona Drive (exit 265) for about 1 ¼
miles and turn left on Nichols for about ¾ miles to the start point. (at corner
with Nichols Road) Ask the duty officer for the walk box.

Ample parking is available. Additional parking
available at the Community Center, about 100 yards down Nichols from City Hall. |

The walk features outstanding views of Lake Monona, Wisconsin State Capitol,
Monona Terrace Convention Center, and the Madison skyline, plus beautiful,
historic homes, area parks, and Indian burial and effigy mounds. |
