From US 41, take the 9th
St exit
east about 2.5 miles to Main St. Turn left on Main St. After crossing the
Fox River go 3 blocks, turn right on Waugoo Av,
go 6 blocks to Bowen St, turn right and go one block to the start point
(on your left).

| Description: |
This walk will take you through a portion of downtown Oshkosh where you will
pass a number of historic buildings, a Civil War Monument, and the location
where a portion of the movie "Public Enemy" filmed. The walk includes part
of the UW Oshkosh campus and will take you through a historic residential area.
It includes a stroll along the Fox River and Lake Winnebago; Wisconsin's largest
lake. The route is on city streets and trails. |
